Where you can camp in our beautiful surroundings amongst the sugar cane. Or experience an on-farm tour that will introduce you to the ins and outs of growing sugar cane here in Calen.

This farm stay was wonderful. The hosts, Karinda and Dale, are great and you get to actually meet and talk to them. I recommend you do the farm tour as you learn so much about sugar cane growing. They also have a fire each night, so grab a drink and meet the other campers and the hosts. I highly recommend this farm stay.

I would urge everyone travelling through the region to pop this stop on their list for a night or two. And make sure you do the sugar cane farm tour the next morning! The hosts took us to the local bowlo in their minibus on Friday night for $8 burgers which was a lot of fun. Incredible sunsets across the property too. A great little stay - certainly something a bit different and a very memorable experience!

Just arrived this afternoon, what a privilege to get to stay on a working cane farm homestead. The grounds are just beautiful, surrounded by sugar cane, and magnificent views. Toilets are IMMACULATE, host is wonderful and has a great sense of humour. Can't wait to go on the tour tomorrow morning. AND there are pancakes for breakfast on Sundays for a small cost of $5.

What an awesome experience! We felt like we were staying with family or friends. A few days filled with laughs, burgers at the local bowlo, sharing stories around the fire and meeting some awesome people What Karinda and Dale have created is a truely unique experience that you won’t find anywhere else! Farm tour is a must! Karinda is so knowledgeable and their passion for the farming industry shines through in what they have created.

Cannot recommend this place more highly. We booked for 3 nights and stayed 2 weeks. Wonderful hosts with a true passion for agriculture and rural life. The farm tour is a must do and don't miss Sunday's pancake breakfast. Huge thank you to Karinda, Dale and Jazz for having us. We will definitely be back soon.
